Hadassah Mexico raised awareness about the Hadassah Medical Center among two thousand people, who came to see the musical, Beauty and the Beast, which Hadassah co-sponsored in collaboration with the Magen David and Mount Sinai Jewish communities of Mexico City, raising $11,000 for the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower.

A poster, with Hadassah International’s logo, invited people to support the construction of the new Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower by buying tickets through Hadassah. The poster was distributed in seven communities, including seven schools, as well as the Jewish Sport Club. The Parent Teacher Associations of four schools helped sell tickets. The children of the Atid School, who visit the Hadassah Medical Center every year when they go to Israel for one month, were particularly enthusiastic salespeople.

A stand in the lobby of Mexico City’s Teatro Telmex, where the play was performed, showcased Hadassah International materials, including a brochure on the new Tower, as well as t-shirts, caps, pens, and balloons.
