The following email was received by Ron Finkel, President of Hadassah Australia in response to the news about the Rozana project.
Dear Ron,
Thank you for the information and for the moving Maysa story with her daughter.
My hope is that this spirit of human empathy, warm feeling and healing will take hold in our turbulent part of the world. As true as this is not going to be the main determining factor to bring the two sides to face each other burning issues, without a political breakthrough of real substance, I still believe that it is a step in the right direction and worthwhile pursuing.
Let us pray that the message will permeate through our different societal levels leading to more compassionate and fair solutions to meet the aspirations of all concerned.
