Dear Hadassah International Friends,

As a society, we share the shock and horror of yet another attack in France yesterday, this time in your beautiful city, Nice.

Over the years, Hadassah International has enjoyed a close relationship with our many supporters in Nice and the whole of France. One of our leaders was at the scene of the attack when it happened, but thankfully, he is safe.  The head of Pediatrics at the Hadassah Medical Center, Prof. Eitan Kerem, offered to send pediatric support to Nice as there were so many children hurt in this terrible attack. Fortunately, these extra doctors are not needed, but the offer was deeply appreciated.

We pray for your safety against the backdrop of this senseless act of terror.

We express our profound sorrow to the families who lost their loved ones and to so many others whose wounds are deep and whose hearts are broken.
