In cooperation with a newspaper and a fashion studio, Hadassah Austria sponsored its popular designer fashion sale, creating a day of fun and bargains and raising $11,000 for the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower at the Hadassah Medical Center.

The clothing and accessories—haute couture at moderate prices—were contributed by various individuals and the fashion studio. The setting—an art gallery owned by one of Hadassah Austria’s board members—added to the panache of the event. Whatever did not sell was donated to a women’s shelter. “It was quite a success,” reports Hadassah Austria President Susi Shaked.
