Hadassah’s hospital in Jerusalem welcomed supermodel Naomi Campbell and her mother today. As they listened to the stories of the children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Naomi was particularly moved by the story of Mohamed, a Palestinian boy who is recovering from horrendous burns he suffered after falling into a vat of boiling jam. “It’s hard to see innocent children suffering,” she said, and praised Hadassah for its outstanding work.

Naomi finished her visit by handing out teddy bears to all the children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Ward. Thank you Naomi Campbell!
