In an article posted online about segregation in several of Israel’s maternity wards, Hadassah Medical Organization’s Director General Prof. Zeev Rotstein told the Forward Newspaper, “I can say loud and clear that all conflicts are ended before entering the hospital. We are outraged by other news accounts of incidents in Hadassah hospitals of maternity patients being segregated. As you know, Hadassah’s hospitals are strongly committed to upholding their policy to give all patients the best care, without regard for race, religion or ethnic origin, earning us a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
