Shmuel Safra had been eagerly waiting for his son’s wedding.

Unfortunately, shortly before the crucial date, he had to undergo surgery and found himself in the Hadassah Intensive Care Unit– unable to leave his bed. As his family left his side to go to the ceremony, he was very upset that he would not be able to be at the wedding.

However, the Hadassah IT crew came to the rescue. He could participate in the wedding via Skype! They set up a computer with a microphone and camera at his bedside!

“I feel like I am at the huppa,” he said joyfully.
