On April 4th, Her Excellency Dr. Anjan Shakya, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Nepal to Israel, visited Hadassah to explore the possibilities of future partnerships between her country and Hadassah. She wanted to see Hadassah with her own eyes and learn more about Hadassah’s outstanding achievements.
Ambassador Shakya met with Prof. Yoram Weiss, Director of the Ein Kerem Hospital to discuss opportunities for future cooperation. On her tour of the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital she had the opportunity to see several departments, including Hadassah’s new Milstein Heart Center where she met with Prof. Arthur Pollak, the Director of Acute Cardiac Care Center and Clinical Research. (See photo above). She also saw Hadassah’s exceptional Operating Room complex.
Her Excellency was thrilled to meet Dr. Sabi Deshu from Nepal who is currently a Resident in the Hadassah Department of Orthopedics.
Ambassador Shakya was very impressed with Hadassah, and Dr. Deshu expressed his appreciation for everything he has seen and experienced at Hadassah. Please watch the video below to hear their praise in their own words.
