Dr. Deepak Chopra, American author, public speaker, and alternative medicine advocate, visited Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem this week, where he met privately with the Head of Internal Medicine Department A’s Prof. Yaron Ilan to discuss quantum biology and possibilities for a joint project on the subject.

Quantum biology explores the interplay of quantum physics (the study of the world of tiny atoms and particles) and biological applications. For example, it looks at the use by biological systems of quantum physics to perform tasks more efficiently.

Visiting along with an entourage that included his wife, Rita Chopra, and friends and colleagues, Dr. Chopra also toured the hospital and viewed the Chagall Widows in the Abbell Synagogue.
