Fabio Wajngarten from Sao Paulo Brazil, has become the first President of Hadassah Brazil. In addition to his role as a member of the Board of Directors of Hadassah International, in his new capacity he will now be leading a team of high-profile leaders in Brazil that include Dr. Sergio Simon, Dora Brenner, Dr. Sidnei Epelman, Salomao Ioschpe, Dr. Moises Cohen and Andre Coji.

In 2002, Fabio started his own media research company in Brazil, a highly innovative enterprise that measured advertisers expenditures, branded content and merchandising on TV.

Together with his wife Sophie, Fabio recently opened his home as host to the largest Hadassah event held in Brazil since Hadassah started operations in the country. The event brought together the most important business leaders of the Jewish Community in Brazil, as well as many business and religious leaders from the general Community.

His appointment as President of Hadassah in Brazil opens a new era for Hadassah’s involvement in South America, as Fabio brings the vision, courage and compassion to take the organization further.
