On Sunday, July 25, Mrs. Aurelie Pirillo, advisor to the French Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee for Christians in the Middle East and to the Paris Municipality’s head of Cultural Affairs, visited the Hadassah Medical Center. She was received by former director of Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem/present acting director-general Hadassah Medical Organization Prof. Yoram Weiss and accompanied on her tour of Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem by Andy Wiesner, director of HI special projects.

Mrs. Pirillo visited the Hadassah Children’s School and the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Department, the Albert and Ethel Herzstein Hadassah Heritage Center, and the Chagall Windows in the Abell Synagogue. She met with Dvir Musai, terror survivor, and Dr. Madi El-Haj, peripheral nerve, hand, and microvascular surgeon, who operated on Mr. Musai. At the end of the visit, Mrs. Pirillo related how incredible she found Hadassah Hospital to be, and how extremely surprised she was to see how different Hadassah is from what the media portrays about Israel.
