Congratulations to Hadassah Medical Center Prof. Emeritus Andre Keren upon receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Society of Cardiology’s Working Group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases.

Prof. Keren, world-renowned for his knowledge and insights about diseases of the heart muscle, has published several of the seminal papers in the field. With over 250 articles published, he has played a pivotal role in the writing of the European Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of heart muscle disease and congestive heart failure. A highly sought-after lecturer throughout the world, Prof. Keren has inspired generations of Hadassah students, residents, and fellows through his brilliance and his infectious enthusiasm for understanding the unusual and extraordinary manifestations of diseases of the heart.
