Adel Toubul is the first baby to be born at Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem in the Jewish New Year 5781. Mom Maia and Dad Aviel are happy they drove in from Ramla to have their third child in Jerusalem.
“Just like the two previous times we came to Jerusalem, it was worth the trip and very empowering,” Maia related with excitement, as she recovered in Hadassah’s maternity department. Last year, between Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem and Hadassah Hospital Mount Scopus, there were 14,000 births.
Adel’s siblings, ages 3 and 5, have been asking for a few months when the baby will be “ready.” Now they are eagerly waiting for her to come home.
