Under the patronage of Prince Alexander zu Schaumburg Lippe, Hadassah International created an environment where, for the first time, three artists from three different nations could perform on one stage, working together for peace between countries and building bridges for future peace.

The Lebanese tenor Matteo El Khodr, the German mezzo soprano Frederike Krumm, and the Iranian pianist Mahkameh Navabi, created an exceptional concert with the aim of raising donations for Hadassah’s “Poorest of the Poor Fund.”

The concert, which took place in the elegant Embassy Ballroom, was accompanied by an outstanding 5 course dinner. In addition, original photographs by Gunter Sachs, Johannes Weinsheimer, and Stefan Czesney, and a huge Mauro Bergonzoli painting, were auctioned off to raise money for this project.

The atmosphere was so congenial that all of the artists as well as Alexander Schaumburg Lippe and several guests went back up on stage after the dinner and preformed their own little exclusive, private concert for Hadassah.

More than 100 international guests participated in this first Hadassah International event in St. Moritz.

Several generous participants, including Mr. Fabian Herdikehoff, provided sponsorships for the Gala.
