The 12 winning research projects span many medical fields, such as kidney diseases, asthma, inflammatory and cancerous processes, diabetes, ophthalmologic diseases, and chronic pain. It’s important to note that most of these research projects were submitted and will be conducted by young physicians/researchers, who will be the next generation of leaders at the Hadassah Medical Center. It is likely that some of these explorations will ripen in the coming years into medical discoveries and breakthroughs.
