Hadassah New Zealand has successfully completed its $75,000 fundraising campaign to name a nursing station in the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower as a memorial tribute to Past President Valda Knight.
“We are so proud of Valda and her achievements, as well as our ability to raise this sum of money in her honor,” notes Hadassah New Zealand President Jenny Leiman.
“This is a wonderful way in which to memorialize a special individual,” notes Osnat Moskowitz, Director of the Hadassah Medical Center’s Development, Donors and Events Department. She adds: “We know that Valda, of blessed memory, worked tirelessly on behalf of Hadassah, and her memory lives on here in our hearts. We are proud to partner with the dedicated New Zealand community in this meaningful memorial project.”
