Hadassah National President Rhoda Smolow proudly acknowledged the work of the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) on September 12 on a panel sponsored by The Jerusalem Post on “The Future of Healthcare.”
In her remarks, Smolow, referring to the worldwide shortage of trained doctors and nurses, promoted the efforts of HMO to recruit doctors from overseas and strengthen nursing education in Israel. She also praised the opening of the Organoid Center at Hadassah and the promise that organoids hold for personalizing healthcare.
Also on the panel were Yoni Yagodovsky, director of international relations for Magen David Adom; Rael Strous, medical director of Mayanei Hayeshua’s Mental Health Center; and Dr. Shai Novik, executive chairman of Enlivex Therapeutics, Ltd.
