Master sergeant Shahar Shnawi from the village of Tamra, rests after life-saving surgery at Hadassah Mount Scopus. He was shot twice in the abdomen by a terrorist near the Beit El junction yesterday.

Said, Shnawi, “I thought I was dead. Both of my parents have already died, and I thought I was joining them.”

Then Hadassah’s team pulled him back. Head of surgery Prof. Achmed Eid, who operated on him, said that Shahar is going to be just fine.
