HMO’s pediatric department hosted a Hanukkah Happening that brought thousands of kids (confession: it felt like tens of thousands) to Cinema City for movies, clowns, art workshops, TV and soccer stars, and conversations with our doctors, all promoting Children’s Hospital without pains. I was watching the movie the Good Dinosaur with ten of my grandchildren when it was suddenly candle lighting. I managed to race upstairs, carrying a huge tub of popcorn, and one of our 4-year old twins, to see terror survivors Naor Ben- Ezra, 13, (see above) and Tahel Sofer (not related to me) light the candles together with Professor Eitan Kerem, head of pediatrics, interim Director Prof. Tamar Peretz, and HMO Rabbi Moshe Klein. What an event!
