Dr. Ariel Revel, a Hadassah physician, took the photo of Palestinian firefighters above as he arrived at Nataf on foot to help fight fires in the north of Israel.

Dr. Revel said “What I found was heartwarming. The Palestinian firefighters in this picture are from Jenin, Tulkarm and Tubas. As a Hadassah physician I treat Palestinians daily. Today however I felt that peace will surely come. When I asked one of them what made them come here to fight the fires, he answered — because it is what we do.”
