The first gift Hadassah received for the Mount Scopus hospital’s renovation after the  Six Day War came from the government of the United States of America.

USAID Deputy Mission Director Jonathan Kamin, representing the American government shared his personal history as the child of a pediatrician who came to volunteer at Hadassah Mount Scopus after the Six Day War, and spoke of the ongoing generous commitment of the United States government to help bring modern equipment to Hadassah’s hospitals.
