May you be inscribed in the Book of Life and let us continue to work for healing, together!
A community, a family, or an organization is as good as the people that constitute it. It does not matter whether they are professional staff or volunteers, all that matters is their dedication, their involvement, and their passion for the cause.
Hadassah International is lucky enough to have functioned since its inception with a wonderful symbiosis between volunteer leadership and professional workers, each complementing the other.
These volunteers and professional staff from around the world have one thing in common. They all instantly have fallen in love with what Hadassah International stands for: to improve lives around the globe based on a passion for medical healing, teaching, and research at the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO) in Jerusalem.
This Rosh Hashanah we at Hadassah International want to recognize all the wonderful HI volunteers who make a difference in people’s lives on a daily basis, either by participating in humanitarian missions like the one at the Polish Ukrainian border, or by spending time and energy creating or running units or new activities like the Young Hadassah without Borders, or simply by adding value to the cause by producing PR materials to inform the world about the Hadassah people and their wonderful contributions.
What do they ask in return for all this work? Nothing but the possibility to continue to make a difference for Hadassah.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to all the HI volunteers from around the world, wishing them, their loved ones, and you, all our dear friends a Happy New Year with the hope that the coming year will be a better one than the last one.
Wishing you all a good year, and thanks for everything!
L’Shanah Tova ve Metuka!
Yours,
Hadassah International Family
