Hadassah International (HI) is investing in the future by growing its value, expanding into areas of the world where it had not previously been active, and inspiring and training the next generation of leaders.

This was the message imparted by Dr. Karen Ezrine, Hadassah International chair, and Jorge Diener, executive director of Hadassah International, as they addressed the leadership of Hadassah, The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, Inc. (HWZOA) at a convention held in Chicago.

Diener explained that these investments will magnify Hadassah International’s support of the people of Jerusalem and Israel as it continues to raise the funds needed to meet the critical needs of the Hadassah Medical Organization (HMO).

Hadassah International’s recent expansion into Asia is adding to the momentum of very strong support emanating from Australia and Latin America, while at the same time, Hadassah International is increasing its presence in Canada, the United Kingdom, and France.

Committed to raising the money by the end of the year 2023 that will enable the final construction of the vitally important new Gandel Rehabilitation Center on Mount Scopus, Hadassah International is reaching out to donors across the world who understand the urgent need for this facility and are responding very generously.

Hadassah International is also preparing for the future and growing its global outreach by attracting and involving a remarkable generation of young people who are already very important leaders in their own countries. “Young Hadassah without Borders” is bringing this young leadership (25-45 years old men and women) together from the four corners of the world, and together they are investing their time, energy, and enthusiasm in building the Hadassah International of the future. They have already come together in person several times, including meeting in Zurich, Jerusalem, and New York.
