הדסה אינטרנשיונל נוסדה בשנת 1983. הדסה אינטרנשיונל מאגדת בתוכה גברים ונשים ללא הבדלי דת, גזע ומין, זאת במטרה לשפר את איכות החיים בעולם הכללי באמצעות תמיכה כספית בטיפול הרפואי, ההוראה הקלינית והמחקר במרכז הרפואי אוניברסיטאי הדסה בירושלים
הדסה אינטרנשיונל פועלת בעשרות מדינות הפרוסות על פני 5 יבשות ומורכבת ממתנדבים ומתנדבות המאמינים שקידום ושיתוף פעולה בין גופים בתחום הרפואה הינו חוצה גבולות ומצוי מעל לדת ופוליטיקה אזורית
הרפואה הינה שפה בינלאומית. הדסה אינטרנשיונל בונה באמצעות שפה זו גשרים בין עמים ומדינות. הדסה אינטרנשיונל גם עוזרת לייסד שותפויות פעילות בין המרכז הרפואי אוניברסיטאי הדסה ומרכזים רפואיים במדינות שונות בעולם
בשנת 2014 נוסדה הדסה אינטרנשיונל ישראל שהינה הזרוע הישראלית של הדסה אינטרנשיונל
במהלך השנה הראשונה לפעילות בישראל, הוקם חבר נאמנים המורכב מאנשי ונשות עסקים, מנכ”לים ויו”רים של חברות מובילות במשק ובכלכלה הישראלית מתחומים שונים (בנקאות, ביטוח, מימון, נדל”ן, הייטק וכו’), אישי ונשות ציבור, מובילי ומובילות דעה בחברה הישראלית
חבר הנאמנים של הדסה אינטרנשיונל ישראל משמש כגוף מייעץ ליו”ר דירקטוריון בית החולים ומתכנס ל-4 פגישות רבעוניות בשנה. מעבר לכך חבר הנאמנים רואה תפקיד חשוב בקידום ופיתוח בית החולים הדסה באמצעות סיוע בפיתוח עסקי ובגיוס משאבים
חבר הנאמנים הושק בתחילת פברואר 2015, המפגש השני מתקיים ב-13 במאי 2015 ולאחריו מפגש בספטמבר 2015l

Hadassah International Israel is privileged to support the Hadassah University Medical Center, globally renowned for its humanitarian policy of treating all patients, both within the Middle East and around the world, with high-quality compassionate care, regardless of ethnicity or religion. Transcending politics, religion and geographical boundaries to enhance world health and wellbeing, the Hadassah Medical Center was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
A Hadassah International Israel Board of Trustees was recently established as a vital part of the Hadassah International Community. Its members include senior businessmen and leading figures in Israeli society and the business community who will contribute their knowledge and extensive managerial experience to the advancement and development of the Hadassah Medical Center. The President of Hadassah International, Mexican businessman Moshe Sandler, stated: “The Hadassah organization has been an inseparable part of Zionism, the history and the future of the State of Israel for over 100 years. The organization helped and supported the State of Israel through good times and difficult times, and will continue to do so. It is therefore natural to establish a board of trustees in Israel. We attribute great importance to this board of trustees, and are certain that its contribution to the advancement of the Hadassah Medical Center, which is the heart of Jerusalem, will be significant.”
